Ashley’s practice focuses on providing counselling with individuals who have experienced loss, suffered grief, trauma, anxiety, PTSD, and who continue to struggle with managing the challenges that day-to-day life presents. Ashley has training in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, however firmly believes that change is a personal experience and therefore, it is important that therapy be a collaborative experience. Ashley strives to support individuals in gaining a greater understanding of their own emotions and experiences and to provide tools and strategies that best align with one’s own values. Ashley provides a client centered, empathic approach that encourages self-discovery in a compassionate manner, in order to promote a safe space for individuals to learn how to cope and grow.
